Duma Manzi Private Game Reserve is a 5000 hectare, malaria – free reserve, majestically positioned and nestled in the spectacular mountainous region of the Umkomass Valley. Merely a one hour drive from Durban and forty five minutes from Pietermaritzburg. Guests can expect to see White Rhino, Buffalo, Giraffe, Nyala, Zebra and the elusive Leopard to name a few. The lodges are small and intimate and the maximum guest count is 30. Sandstone Lodge chalets, each with its own private plunge pool, provide "relaxed African intimacy". Five thatched, luxuriously appointed chalets, with wooden decks providing perfect platform to discover nature, provide secluded bliss for ten guests.
Fish Eagle Lodge comprises four pristine chalets and provides a "true African-Bush experience". The lodge eagerly heeds the Fish Eagle's call.
